Election Day 2008 in Tobyhanna, PA

I was wrong thank god that Coolbaugh three would be a disaster. As you will see in my report it was due in very large part to the Obama camp working extra hard.

  • UPDATE: Looks like more was wrong than I found. Earlier in the day the Tabernacle's staff was handing out religious material.

    Also they were pushing voters to sign a petition in support of their charter school receiving tax vouchers.

    Over 15 complaints came to Commisoner Merli by the afternoon. I as there from quater to five till almost 6:30PM election day.

    So all the folks I interviewed were not subject to the solicitation.

    Both the county says they no longer will use the site. And the church like angry little children said they don't want the polls back there ever.

    Before it was a mega- church Shawnee Tabernacle was first a horse stable turned flea market, turned lumber yard.
